Document Development
- Specifications - Technoweld has developed a number of welding specifications for clients to define to their suppliers what they are obliged to
supply for projects. Standards such as Australian standards are a minimum requirement and may not adequately cover your projects needs without a welding specification that is specifically written for the type of work your company undertakes it makes it difficult for you to control your suppliers quality. - Welding Procedures - the basis of any welding management system is qualified welding procedures, Technoweld has qualified hundreds of WPSs for a variety of clients, which comply with Australian and International standards and clients specifications. Our experience with WPS development and documentation range from Pressure Equipment to Structural Steel for all industry sectors using materials from low carbon steel, low alloy steels, high alloy steels, austenitic stainless steel, duplex, super duplex and aluminiums. We provide you with a comprehensive electronic document complete with WPS, PQR, NDT report, Mechanical test report, material and consumable certificates. Technowelds understanding of the latest versions of standards and codes can reduce the number of WPSs you require and therefore reduce your cost. For clients that request a number of WPSs we supply a WPS register so you can easily search to determine which WPS to use for the project at hand.
- Welder Qualifications - it is no good using qualified WPSs if you do not qualify your welders. Technoweld has qualified thousands of welders for its clients over the years. Technowelds understanding of the relevant standards and specifications can minimise the testing required and qualification frequency. We provide you with a professional electronic copy of all qualifications and when requested a welder qualification register so that you can track your welder quals easily.
- QA Documents - often documents such as Inspection and Test Plans, Manufacturers Data Reports, Material Traceability, Hydrotest certificates, etc are required as part of a projects outcomes. It can take as much time to complete the QA as it does the project in some cases and it can be a daunting experience for a lot of fabricators.
